Why force on moving charged particle due to magnetic field?

Question :

Why force on moving charged particle due to magnetic field?

why the magnetic field exerts force only on moving charged particle even though a metal piece at rest also experience a force due to magnetic field?

My solution:


A charged particle has only electric field associated with it.
A moving charge particle has both electric and magnetic field associated with it.


According to basic physics principles, two fields can interact with each other only if they are of similar nature.


A magnetic field can't interact with a gravitational field.
Since, only a moving charged particle has a magnetic field and not stationary, only moving charged particle experiences A MAGNETIC FORCE DUE TO MAGNETIC FIELD.
